Great halal food. The owner had amazing hospitality to give an appetizer for free and was very warm and kind. I had the crunchy tuna rolls which turned out delicious and the appetizer which was spicy and was a wonderful surprise. Will come again

My husband and I came here for Iftar and the food was amazing. Do not be deterred from the location or street parking as you would truly be missing out. The chef is new in town and has only been open for a short time. From speaking to him he has had over 18 years experience in his field and humble about it. It shows in the presentation of the food and the flavor. He also took the time to explain to us what sets his food apart and why other sushi restaurants aren’t halal . In all honesty, the sushi at this quaint eatery was unexpectedly the best we’ve ever had.

I totally recommend dining in at this place over take out. Why? The perks to it of course! The owner is such a sweet heart and the staff is so accommodating! Things to know: The owner has been making sushi for about 22 years. You can tell he was trained very well by the way he takes his time with each roll. Be patient when waiting because the Umami (the flavours) is real. I know people will discredit places because "they're not Japanese" listen, the man knows the art form, he is beyond respectful and is clearly trained in the sushi making field. Don't knock it off until you try! They are AMAZING and respectful! Do: - Dine in! The salad provided to us before the sushi was amazing, a mix of tuna and salmon and cucumber with a great blend of seasonings. It melted in our mouths, everyone at the table was giggling like school children at the taste of it. Order the sushi - I recommend the Niagara Lava Rolls, they were to die for. Order the Tempura Shrimp, oh it was so light and fluffy like tempura should be. Ehhh: - This isn't a Ramen shop so don't go expecting magical ramen that will make you want to come back for more. It was just Ramen as it is. Nothing too fancy. - The server rarely checked in on us. We were sharing our appetizers and had no plates to put our food on and we had to ask for some. Just make sure to ask for plates. It was difficult to get his attention but when we did get it eh was prompt to help us and that was very nice of him! Extra To know: - There are no fountain drinks, drinks are by the bottle - The English is very broken, but don't let that deter you from making a new acquaintance with such nice people. - Be Patient Don't miss out on the opportunity to view this place! IT IS WORTH IT and and the prices are JUST RIGHT. At some point I will be doing a TIktok about this place so that others can check it out

we were looking for a new sushi spot for our anniversary and this place did not disappoint!!! the owner, and chef, was incredibly welcoming and even prepared us a delicious complimentary seafood salad. you can obviously tell this guy works hard and loves his business, and his sushi is some of the best we’ve had in buffalo! here’s what we got: -seafood salad 10/10 -tuna maki 10/10 -sexy buffalo roll 11/10 -takoyaki 10/10 -yaki soba 8/10 -ramen 8/10 even better the ramen was halal, which was a win for my fiance since he cant usually have it! but i’ll say it again GO FOR THE SUSHI! the prices are GREAT and the taste was FANTASTIC! this is a slower dining experience but the party lights totally make it worth it

The best halal sushi in Buffalo! Below is the Spider Roll which was absolutely delicious and expertly crafted! The presentation of the dishes was very nice. The wait time was not long, and the sushi was so fresh and delicious. Polite staff, and a very friendly chef. The atmosphere of the restaurant was serene. Will definitely be coming here again, and will be recommending this restaurant to family and friends!

The chef did an amazing job with the food and service all on his own. You could tell it was authentic Japanese cuisine. Not overly spicy. Place was cozy with no bells and whistles.

This unassuming hole in the wall is an absolutely unexpected delight. Don’t be dissuaded by the location or setting, this is a glorious gem. The food presentation is beautiful and so tasty, with very generous portions of fresh fish from New York. The prices are reasonable. The chef’s skill and pride in his work shine. And chef Assam is seriously the sweetest human being, running his new restaurant alone tonight, new to town, and figuring it out as he goes. This is old world, heart centered hospitality, in the simplest of settings. Foodies! People in the know! Anyone with an appetite whatsoever! Come here and eat and spread the word!
